The secret to getting the size right: BE HONEST.
We promise not to publish this information or drop it out of airplanes over your city. It is essential to the fit and comfort of your costume that you fill out the measurement chart accurately.

Measuring Yourself
Of course measuring yourself would be easiest (not to mention more fun) if you have a tape measure and a friend. However, it can be done with a piece of string and a ruler. It is best to take your measurements while wearing your underwear. Keep the tape or the string taut but not tight. Stand up straight and don't hold your breath while making the measurement.

  • Bust: Measure over the fullest point of the bust, under the arms and around the widest part of your back.
  • Chest: Measure just below your bust measurement (usually corresponds to your bra size.) Also include your cup size if you are over a "C".
  • Waistline: Find the natural waistline by finding the narrowest part of your body. Firmly measure with your fingers on the outside (not against your body) of the tape.
  • Outer leg: It really helps to have a friend to measure this one. Measure from the waistline to the ankle bone. If you don't have help. Step on the tape under your foot on the outside of your leg at 5". Then bring the tape to your waistline and add the 5".
  • High hip: Measure around the high point of the hip bones 3 to 4" below the waistline.
  • Bodice Front: Measure from the nape of the neck, down over the bust and to the bottom edge of the waistline. (The nape is where the neck turns toward the shoulder.)
  • Height: Remove your shoes and measure from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. If your are alone stand with your back straight against a door frame, place a cardboard on your head and mark the door frame. Then measure the mark from the floor.
  • Weight: List the exact weight from the last time you weighed at the Doctors or your best estimate.
  • Shoe size: Wide or narrow plus size.
  • Head size: Measure around your forehead holding the tape taut.
